Angela Calkins
Angela Calkins is the Chief Operations Officer of the Wright Leadership Institute, as well as a Coach and Trainer with the Institute with over 20 years experience inspiring people to see possibilities and do the work it takes to live the lives they long for. She worked as a licensed clinical professional counselor and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor for many years before moving to the coaching model in the early 90's and helped start Jamal Place, a group home for 10-13 year-old boy. She climbed the ranks in the business world too, consistently landing in the "Winner's Circle" as a top account manager for the international firm Ceridian. Angela leads small groups and weekend trainings in most of the Wright Institute program areas: Relationships, Women, Singles, Parenting, Spirituality and Soft Addictions. Angela uses her extensive training from the Wright Institute to coach and train individuals and groups. She also supervises staff coaches and leads new coaches through our coach training program. Angela holds a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from St. Mary's College, a M.S. in Marriage and Family Systems and Substance Abuse from the University of Wisconsin, and is a graduate of the Coach Training Program at the Wright Institute.
